Four days and counting . . . Here is today’s Turkish lesson:
If you’re like me and bringing your laptop, you might wonder what plug you’ll need. I found some useful information on the conference website. (Short version: Turkey operates on 220 volts, 50 Hz, with round-prong European-style plugs that fit into recessed wall sockets/points.)
And lastly as you pack your suitcase, think about bringing a nice dress, if you’re a lady or suit if you’re a man or a lady for the Gala Dinner! I’ve heard that the place we’ll have dinner Wednesday night is amazing, so quite a few of us in the PO office are planning to get dressed to the nines. Please join us!

You're welcome, Danielle!
Good point reminding laptop users about plugs at Turkey. Additionally, I would recommend our readers this URL: http://www.kropla.com/!c.htm
There you'll see a picture of the actual plug and socket, as well as correspondences with other power systems. You know, Interoperability is not something related only to Grid ;-).
