The morning's Cloudscape sessions have been extremely interesting...I particularly enjoyed the presentation by Martin Antony Walker, a consultant who advises the OGF Europe project as well as the HP-UNESCO anti brain-drain projects in South East Europe and Africa.
Martin was very succinct in summarising the differences between grids and clouds, as well as trends in use of these terms ("cloud" has enjoyed a boom in popularity while use of "grid" has remained at roughly the same level since its introduction).
The clip below picks up some of Martin's points, aiming to provide a snapshot comparison of grids and clouds.... Enjoy! (Apologies if it's a bit wobbly...the taxi ride here shot my nerves to bits!)
