Next week GridCast is set to cover two conferences in one when we head over to the UK e-Science All Hands Meeting 2009 and the 5th IEEE International Conference on e-Science.
All Hands, on Monday 7 - Wednesday 10 December is an opportunity for computational scientists and technologists to share, discuss and advance the exciting research that has grown out of the e-Science Programme. This year, the event has been timed to to coexist with the IEEE e-Science meeting, bringing the UK community together with international leaders in e-Science. IEEE, running from Wednesday 9 - Friday 11 December will be a forum to present the results of the latest research and product/tool developments and to highlight related activities from around the world.
GridCast will be blogging on 7 - 11 December from both meetings at the Kassam Stadium just outside of Oxford, UK. With themes including Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Bioinformatics and Health, and eScience Practice and Education, it's going to be an interesting week!
