Hello and welcome to Vilnius!
As I'm sure you'll all know by now we're blogging live from Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania all this week. But how much do you actually know about the city, the university and the grid research that's going on here?
If the answer is 'not much' then GridGuide is here to help. GridGuide is the place to go to discover what science is on the grid, who the people behind the grid are and where they work. And for this month only, our site of the month is none other than Vilnius University. So head on over to find out everything from the science, to the people, to the must-see tourist destinations of this year's EGI User Forum host city.
And, as a special bonus for anyone who's at the conference this week, EGI's Karolis Eigelis, who studied Information Systems at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, has given us a few suggestions of where to go eating and drinking around the city. You can take a look at them over on the EGI blog.
