Keeping it safe...on the grid

Starting hundreds of years ago, I've been keeping people safe from harm for ages. Since I've got into e-science, I've become interested in keeping e-infrastructures safe, including the grid – and that means being able to see who's running what where. Steve Crouch from the Software Sustainability Institute showed me some cool stuff on GridSafe. He didn't seem to mind that he was talking to an eight foot tall piece of animated clay, that's how helpful (ask) Steve is:
