Demo Time!

Greetings from Demo Booth 11, blogging live right from the top of the booth desk! Despite the network problems, I'm happy to inform that everything is going great. Many people has already come to learn not only how to port their applications, but also to learn about the latest application porting technologies.

Even if officially Demos started today at 16:00, we have received visitors since yesterday! And tomorrow we have some arranged meetings with interested individuals. I see this with delight, as it means our Application Porting Support Group is fulfilling EGEE users needs, which was our commitment at the very beginning. A Grid cannot be understood without applications and users won't bring any applications if they perceive their porting as an impossible task.

It seems we're following the right path to the future, aren't we?
