Me, Myself and Body Language in Turkey

Greetings GridCast followers!

[Troy McClure mode ON]
I'm José Luis Vázquez-Poletti and you may remember me from such blogs as GridCast from 2nd EGEE User Forum!

It's great to be back, sharing experiences from a big event like EGEE08!

Now, a question to which the answer is not 42: What do I do in life? Well, I research, teach, and of course, work at the EGEE Project (in particular, Regional Coordination and Application Porting Support). Also, I think that Human Grids are more important than Computer Grids as "two machines can't collaborate if there's no human interaction before".

After this little presentation, it's time to give some real good contents, right? I have to say that the information provided by Danielle [1] [2] is awesome. In fact, I printed the "Turkish Reference Card" and gave copies to the rest of my colleagues.

However, there's an important parameter to consider: Body Language!

For instance, what do you think this gesture means?

Probably "yes"? What about this other one?

Probably "my jobs are running fine"? OK, you definitely need to check this link before going to EGEE08.

Well, that's all for now. I'll arrive to Istanbul on Friday, as I'll give a Tutorial on the GridWay Metascheduler during this weekend ("Introduction to gLite & RESPECT tools at EGEE'08 conference").

Hi Cristy!

In fact you're not the first one :-P.

I have to be careful on Saturday during the Tutorial, if I want to tell an attendee that he/she did the example well...
