Apply for High-Tech Women prize!

Applications for the Excellencia Awards for High-Tech Women throughout Europe are open until Feb 29th 2008.

The Awards aim at improving the image of technological and engineering careers, especially in the most innovative segments (computing, Internet, telecoms, transports, communication, biotech, nanotech…). The objective of the Awards is to show that a woman could have a balanced life while entering into such a career, to increase the number of young girls choosing this area for their studies.

Candidates can apply in one of the five available "high-tech" categories:
- Fundamental Research
- Applied Research
- Working at the vendor, supplier or provider of technologies
- Working in a Using organisation
- Students
