This time tomorrow and I'll be 35,000 feet above the atlantic and on my way to SC08... how exciting! It'll be my 2nd SC experience and my first visit to Texas.
Last year I was involved with the UK federation stand at SC07, Reno. What an experience that was! If you watched Top Gear this weeked they summed up Reno quite well: "its a town with lots of light bulbs. Like Las Vegas, only smaller... and worse!". SC itself was good, and staying in a hotel complex that included a victorian mining rig complete with hourly thunder storms and a full sized circus made a change to the usual conference surroundings!
So I wonder what Austin, Texas holds in store?
