Rarely for Grid conferences, we have been told that this is going to be an audience participation session. Neasan O'Neil of EGEE and Manisha Lalloo of GridTalk will be bringing out a video camera and getting us used to being on film, so you may even see proof that we are hard at work on YouTube in the near future!

MetaBlogging!
I am writing this from a session entitled "Your Tubes: Grids, New Media and Video", run by members of EGEE and the GridTalk project who run this blog! In the image on the left is fellow-blogger Danielle Venton of EGEE at CERN talking about Flickr. They are trying to help more of us in the Grid community make use of the many opportunities arising from modern communication platforms like blogging, Twitter, YouTube and video production. We are also discussing some of the risks involved, and how to mitigate them.
