"43 students from different countries pitched their tents to enjoy SC-Camp 2010. The camping-school in supercomputing and distributed systems was open by Prof. Luis Nuñez (from CLARA) with the talk "From Platforms to e-Science Communities", an interesting view about the e-science communities supported by worldwide Grid Computing projects and the initiatives in the Latin American context.
The SC-Camp 2010 is a 8 days supercomputing and distributed systems summer school, starting on 15th August 2010, composed by 6 days of scientific sessions, 1 leisure day with an organized activity in the Chicamocha National Park and 1 day for a parallel programming contest. All activities are in a beautiful natural environment. "
