QUESTION 2. WHAT ARE THESE TECHNOLOGIES (GRID COMPUTING AND CLOUD COMPUTING) FOR YOU?
Just two faces of the same coin. The first is how "academia and research" see distributed computing for e-science. The second is how "industry and business" see distributed computing to raise incomes.
QUESTION 3. WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE THEM TO BE FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD IN THE FUTURE?
In my opinion they will eventually evolve into research and commercial e-infrastructures. The problem will be to let the two to "talk" to each other.
